ONLINE COURSE: Designing small-sided games for Soccer (Football)
- Do you want to be able to design effective small-sided games?
- Do you want to improve your player’s decision-making capabilities?
This course aims to help coaches in designing small-sided games for physical, technical and tactical development. For that purpose, it will present the effects of different task constraints manipulations (e.g., players number, pitch rules, game rules, spatial references…) on the players’ physical, technical and tactical performance based on scientific and practical evidence.
Also, it will focus on how these manipulations affect the players’ decision-making and movement behaviour.
Finally, it will present a general overview of how small-sided games can be designed and manipulated during a soccer training microcycle.
