Performance Analyst (Academy) – New York Red Bulls
The New York Red Bulls are one of 27 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Red Bull Arena (RBA) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters’ Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation’s premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.
Purpose of this Job
You’ll aim for excellence within the performance analysis department and provide support to all academy players and staff. This includes objective analysis through video and data on individual and team performances to aid player development.
Areas that play to your strengths
• You will report to the Head of Performance Analysis
• Provide detailed analysis on individual and team performance based on the playing philosophy
• Contribute to the development of best practice databases for the Club
• Produce playing philosophy videos for educational purposes using telestration software
• Contribute to the individual player development process
• Facilitate the organization of analysis for academy games and training sessions
Your areas of expertise that matter most for this role:
• Two years’ experience in the elite sports setting
• Experience working within a multi-disciplinary professional soccer environment
• Practice using the latest performance analysis software
