Academy Physiotherapist – Stoke City

Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League are looking for Academy Physiotherapists to provide support to the Academy training games programme along with weekend pitch side cover for training sessions and occasional injury clinic support as and when required.

As an Academy Physiotherapist you will be required to assess all injuries sustained by Academy players U9-16s deliver effective and suitable treatment plans along with supporting rehabilitation programmes. You will also be required to ensure that medical records and documentation remains up to date so that feedback can be provided on injured players to the relevant Academy staff as well as the player and parents in appropriate cases. The role also requires attendance to relevant CPD events.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy qualification and CSP & HPC registered. Holding the FA ITMMiF (Intermediate Trauma Medical Management of Injuries in Football) qualification and previous experience in a sporting environment is desirable.

Positions will be offered on a casual and intermittent basis. The role requires a high degree of flexibility to cover weekend and evening work as required.
