Working as our Technical Director for Liverpool Women`s Football Club
We`re looking for an experienced leader to come and join the team as our Technical Director for the Regional Talent Club. The successful candidate will lead and develop the youth talent pathway, produce our technical plans from U10`s to U16`s and develop a CPD model to support the development across our technical teams.
What will you be doing?
-Overseeing the youth talent pathway from RTC level, U10 through U16.
-Acting as the `golden thread` supporting player progression through the LFCW talent pathway.
-Implementation of the LFCW DNA across the youth set-up, allowing progression of the football philosophy of the club.
-Implementing a robust recruitment process to ensure we consistently have the highest calibre of players within our RTC.
-Developing and mentoring coaches across the youth section, ensuring a high level of elite professionalism and consistency across U10 through U16.
-Being the consistent link with the coaching and development set-up`s within IDP`s.
-Providing consistent and detailed reports on player and coach development.
-Proactively operating and encouraging the LFC Safeguarding and Welfare practices across the RTC and ensure that all FA guidelines and regulations are consistently met.
-Working with the Academy Operations Manager, to ensure that staff development, regulatory detail and player education and welfare is best in class and consistent across U10 through U16.
Who are we looking for?
To apply you will need to hold a UEFA A licence and have strong experience within Women`s football and a high-profile youth environment. You will also have an excellent understanding of the education models and welfare provisions important within an elite youth environment
You`re a natural leader and have experience on working within a multi-disciplinary team. You have great interpersonal skills and the ability to develop others.
Why should you apply?
This a part time, permanent position working 15 hours per week. Flexibility is required as the postholder will be required to work some evenings and weekends. The role will be based across all Women`s Academy sites so some travel within the Merseyside area will be required.
In exchange for your hard work and commitment we pay a competitive salary, offer 33 days holiday with the option to buy an additional 5 days and access to a pension scheme where we will match your contributions up to 5%.
